Our mission is to serve the community by operating and maintaining its
unique facility -The Manluk Theatre for the Performing Arts.
We partner with various community organizations to present a variety of events at the Manluk Theatre.
As our Theatre Executive Director, you’ll be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Manage the venue operations and marketing for the Manluk
Be responsible for the overall strategic management of the
organization including the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and
procedures in support of WTS’s vision and mission.
Represent the Manluk Theatre at community events and in
communications with patrons, donors, volunteers, and other community organizations.
Report directly to the Wetaskiwin Theatre Society Board of Directors.
This is a part-time contract position (25 hours per week) for 8 months, with the
possibility of becoming a full-time position. The successful candidate must be flexible in
their availability as the weekly schedule will vary throughout the theatre season.
Highly organized, motivated and dedicated, detail oriented
Displays creativity and enjoys working in a collaborative and fun environment
Can be cool under pressure and work in a fast-paced environment displaying
excellent problem-solving and customer service skills
Displays inclusive and strategic leadership
A clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Persons Record Check is
Knowledge of a non-profit environment and an appreciation for the performing
